Gateshead Parish

 Hello, and welcome to Gateshead Team Ministry.

The Parish of Gateshead is part of the Church of England’s Diocese of Durham, and is called by our Bishops to be a ‘holy, learning and witnessing people’.
The Parish consists of two churches - St James & St Bede on Wordsworth Street and St Edmund’s on the High Street. Our churches have been linked for over 25 years, share clergy and a common life.
Our parish aim is : ‘to build up the Church of God for its Mission in the Community’.
